Attention Is Love
When attention becomes a love language — and its absence becomes a message neither person agreed to send.
About this album
What Attention Is Love is about
This album starts from a simple observation: in relationships, attention is not a neutral thing. When you give it fully — when someone has your presence, not just your physical location — it feels like love. When it's withdrawn, withheld, or simply elsewhere, the absence is felt as something much heavier than inattention.
For people with ADHD, this dynamic is particularly loaded. Attention is both the thing most difficult to give consistently and the thing that most matters to the people they love. The album sits in that tension without resolving it neatly — because for most people living it, it doesn't resolve neatly.
The songs move between the experience of trying to give attention that doesn't come easily, the experience of waiting for attention that keeps not arriving, and the rare moments when everything lines up and someone is truly, fully present with you.
"Attention is how love shows itself when words aren't enough."
— William Cloudborn
